Flat Plan 1
Flat Plan 2
Flat Plan 3
The first flat plan is very similar to the RadioTimes article I analysed. It is very basic and for this reason I don't think that I will use this for my final piece. However, it does follow a lot of the same conventions used in television magazine articles. For example, it had a big main heading, a big main image, a subheading, smaller images, a quote and text in columns.
The second flat plan is much more like an article I would create. It is attractive to look at and includes many common conventions of TV listing magazine article, such as a big bold heading, subheading, information bar, big main image, enlarged quote, columns and border. If I were to incorporate colour into this it would look much like a magazine article you would find in any TV listings magazine.
Flat plan 3 is very similar to the second, apart from it is made up of smaller images. I could not see this flat plan working as a double page spread. There is also too much text and in my surveys my target audience said that they would prefer little text. For this reason I don't think that I will develop this flat plan any further.
I have decided that I will develop flat plan 2 into a double page spread from a TV magazine. I will create it using Photoshop CS5.

Excellent evidence of the flat plans for the feature article which is related to similar products which demonstrates you utilising the research that you have completed.
