New technologies will play a vital role in the production of my documentary and will help me create a professional looking final product. This ties in with David Gauntlett's theories in which he said that "new technologies erode the boundaries between producer and audiences."  He saying that, because new technologies are readily available to the public, the public can create professional looking products and can easily become producers of media texts.
