Producing soundtrack

Here I am recording the soundtrack for my documentary.
Fortunately for me I am a musician so therefore I was able
to record a simple soundtrack myself using the program
GarageBand. I recorded three tracks for the whole soundtrack.
I got inspiration from other paramedic documentaries
I have been looking at such as Honda's Blood Bikes

I opened GarageBand and started a new project as acoustic guitar.
I then chose to record using the real instrument. I could do
this becauseI plugged my guitar into the iMac using a jack
to headphone adapter.
I recorded my main track first, using the Large Reverb
effect. I did this first because I could then add extra guitar
tracks on top of the main track. After recording my main track,
I recorded a guitar line similar to a bass line with the
sixties bass effect. After this I added another track
using the Long Pause Echoes effect.
At this point, I was happy with the soundtrack. I
exported it with iTunes (MP3) and I could then
copy the MP3 into the shared area and add it to my
Final Cut project.
